Greetings, my name is William Anderson and I am a missionary from
Calvary Chapel Boise in Idaho serving the Lord in Romania. Recently I moved from Brasov to the capital Bucuresti (Romanian spelling) to serve as an assistant pastor at
Calvary Chapel Bucuresti. Bucuresti is a city of about two and a half million people and is the cultural, media, political, industrial and business center of the country.

My Time in Romania
I have had the privilege of doing ministry in Romania since October 1997. I spent the first two years in Petrosani then moved on to Bistrita for the next two years. In both cities my main ministry was to young orphans in the state system. In July of 2002 I moved to Brasov in response to God's call to start a church. There I stayed until December of 2006 having given the church over in August to another missionary. More can be found in Ministry History under About in the menu bar above.
Calling and Ministry Now
The Lord has called me to Bucuresti to help develop and administer a School of Ministry which will be used to train and equip believers to serve in ministries and plant churches throughout Romania. In addition to the School, I will also be involved in helping to develop media ministries for the teaching of God's Word and for proclaiming the Gospel using such things as the internet, books, radio and TV.
Background
I gave my life to Jesus Christ in 1986 and have been involved over the years in ministry with junior highers, college students and singles before moving to Romania. I graduated from the Cole Center for Biblical Studies in Boise, Idaho in 1991 with a Masters degree in Biblical Studies and Ministry.
