Greetings Again, Being a small city boy it is taking some time getting use to living in a city of almost 3 million. There is one thing I don't think I will ever adjust to and that is the traffic. It is bad beyond belief and a lot of drivers are just plain crazy with no regard for the traffic laws. I don't like even being in a car at all here. I prefer the metro (subway) as it is the quickest and cheapest mode of transportation in the city. At the Calvary Chapel here in Bucuresti (Romanian spelling) my involvement has been in ushering on Sunday mornings helping with the set up and take down and doing what needs to be done during the service. I have also taught a few times on Sundays as well as on Wednesdays at the midweek Bible study. For a few months now I have been doing an intensive study of the gospel on Tuesday evenings with a small group. I really enjoy leading this study and learning more about the gospel. Preparations to start the School of Ministry the first week of September continue. If you are interested in know more you can click here. I am really looking forward to the school starting up. I am also praying for a door to open for me to reach out to university students. We have a few coming to our church and I asked them where the students hang out so I have been going out occasionally to pray in those areas. Lord willing in October when the universities starts up again something will open up for me. Being a missionary in Bucuresti is really a challenge in regards to raising enough support to live. Rent here is almost 3 times what is was in Brasov which contributes to making living expenses about double. I really need wisdom on what to do as my support is not adequate. I really believe the Lord has called me here so I know it will work out somehow and it is giving me an opportunity to learn to be content and trust the Lord.
